Buying a New Home

 

You have decided to buy a new home what are the next steps you need to make in order to do this.  Make sure you are prepared to begin you search of buying a home by doing a few simple things before you begin your search.

1. If you are going to need a mortgage to buy a home make sure you have all your financial paperwork in order.

Pay stubs, w-2’s, tax returns, bank statements, divorce decrees, bankruptcy papers, lease agreements

Determine your budget for a house.  No reason to over extend and be house poor.

2. Make a wants and needs list for your house.

How many bedrooms, bathrooms, 1 story, 2 story, how many car garage, big yard, small yard, pool.  If you get all of your needs and

some of your wants you will be happier.

3. Select an area where you might want to live.

Schools near by, shopping, parks, restaurants, grocery stores, close to work.

4. Select a Realtor to work with.

This is very important because they help represent you and can make or break a great experience.
